Detox Within is a home-based wellness clinic in Tamatea, Napier, established in 2007 and run by its sole operator and owner, Annie. She trained in Swedish massage at the Eastern Institute of Technology in Taradale, then qualified in colonic hydrotherapy at Kungala Retreat in Coffs Harbour, Australia, in 2007. She is a registered colonic hydrotherapist on the LIBBE unit, having started at foundation level and advanced to intermediate. Colonic hydrotherapy is the clinic's main focus, alongside infrared sauna, compression therapy and several styles of massage. Detox Within works with both women and men, and Annie describes being clear and open about what each treatment involves as central to how she runs the clinic.

- Open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm; Saturday and Sunday 9am to 12pm by appointment only, at a higher weekend rate
- Gift vouchers available on request
- Deep tissue massage is no longer offered; Normatec compression therapy is used in its place
- Detox Within describes the purpose of colonic hydrotherapy as cleansing and balancing the colon, and states on its own site that it is not a cure
